I went on the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure walk on Mother's day. It was a good time. Thankfully, it didn't rain while we were walking. That was nice. It was still a bit chilly outside, though. It did clear up as we went along and was almost sunny when we left. Unfortunately, we had to walk around the Mall of America. Blah. We did go around a few residential streets, so we werent looking at the parking lots the whole time. We met up with a couple of my mom's friends and some of their kids. It was nice seeing them. It has been a while.
HERE are some pictures from the walk. I bet there were about 50k people there. The highest number on the shirts I saw was 49,933 or something close to that.
After the walk we went to Fort Snelling Cemetary to visit family that has passed. It was the first time I had been to my grandma's grave. But I was glad I could go on Mother's day to visit. I will have to go back soon. I didn't know we were going there, so I didn't have any flowers or anything to leave there.
Now we are off to Chuck's mom's house for dinner.
