Today might have been even more amazing than the first ultra sound. We got to see the baby again in all sorts of positions and it's really getting bigger. The coolest part was how much it was moving around in there! I can't believe how much it moves in there and you can't feel any of that movement.
The baby was about 6cm or 2.5 inches (crown to rump length). I think it was only a little over 2cm the last time we were there. Wow!
The heart rate was 161. Which they told me was good. And it was good that it was really active. They told me I have 5 days until the 2nd trimester starts. I will now be counting down for that! How exciting!
We got to her the heart beat, too. That was so cool to hear. I can't believe I have something that tiny growing inside me. It's all so amazing! I feel really blessed!
The only downfall today was that we didn't really care for the doctor we saw. I am seeing a different one next time, so we'll see if we like her better. She's the same one a friend of mine sees and LOVES. So I have high hopes that it will go well with her in 4 short weeks!
