Chuck’s mom came back from Florida yesterday. She was hoping to have a little granddaughter here to visit, but no such luck. She took me out to lunch and then we went to JoAnn’s and picked out material for a quilt she’s making for Thumper. I think it’s going to be adorable! I love the fabric we picked out!
I also decided that I wanted to learn to knit. I need something to do these next few days while I’m waiting for Thumper to arrive! Luckily, Linda remembered how to knit from when she used to do it when she was younger. I got a book to help teach me, but it was nice to have someone to help show me what her tricks were and just see someone doing it.
So I spent the evening knitting while Chuck went to another broomball game. I am bummed I didn’t go to his game. He usually plays goalie, but tonight he didn’t and got two goals. He almost got a third goal, but it hit the crossbar. 
He’s such a great athlete and I am so glad he’s been able to play the whole season even if that means we are still waiting on the baby to arrive.
