I have been pretty bad about writing in here. I guess I should get better!

I have been feeling well (with yesterday/last night being an exception.) But I feel much better today. So I am happy about that.

I am just ending week 10. I can't believe how much time has passed since I first found out. But I thought this week would never get here!

Now I am waiting for my next appointment on July 29th! The weekend after that we go out of town with a bunch of friends, so I'll be able to tell more people then.

Only 2 weeks and 3 days to go until we can see a picture of the baby again!

OH MY GOODNESS! This was the coolest day EVER! We got to see the baby and the heart beat (179 bpm) and it had arms and legs and it was so cute! I can't wait for the next appointment. Then you can see it even better and it should be able to do somersaults by then!

What an amazing experience!

And they did keep my due date of February 8, 2010…at least for now. I guess these things are always prone to change!

Today I went in for my first appointment. It wasn't too bad. Some blood here, pee in a cup there. Then we talked to the nurse and she wants to do a “dating” ultrasound tomorrow to check my due date. This was because I got pregnant so quickly after being off the pill. So I will be back tomorrow!

Slept pretty well last night. Got up this morning and went on a short walk. It was about a 1/2 hour.

We're going to the prenatal “class” tonight, so I knew we wouldn't get in any time for a walk tonight.

Nothing real exciting for the day. After dinner we went on a bike ride. It was pretty long! I was very tired from the bike ride. But it was a lovely night for it.

I am happy to say that I slept through the night last night! I actually felt refreshed when I woke up! It was wonderful. Of course, as soon as I got to work I started yawning.

I need to seriously do some things around the house this weekend…for instance, put away laundry that's been clean and sitting out for DAYS! Assuming I don't fall asleep immediately when I get home, this may actually happen!

The day at work went by pretty quickly considering I had no motivation to get anything done. And I ate WAY too much today. Nothing really that bad, but I just wanted to snack all day. Now I need to force myself to have a small dinner. Maybe Chuck will want leftover pizza and I can make something small.

I went on a long walk this morning. Here is my route. I walked a little slower this time. I think the distance was close to the same as on 6/3, but I walked for about 51 minutes. This could have been because I stopped a couple times to take pictures of things.

Chuck played soccer today and I got in a couple 5 minute naps.

I went walking/shopping with Brooke all day for things for her shower. Then I met Chuck to look at some cars.

We watched a movie (which I barely stayed awake for) and got pizza. I was surprisingly not very hungry.

I was exhausted this morning. My body hurts from walking and my back is really sore today. I feel like I could sleep for a week. I need to do some things around the house tonight and I hope I can find the energy to do them!

Of course…that didn't happen. I hung out on the porch with Chuck for a while and then we went to the neighbors' house to hang out and then went to DQ. It was a nice night!

I woke up and went for a nice, long 45 minute walk. Here's the path I took.

It was so nice to get up and get some fresh air in the morning.

I also called and made my first doctor appointment this morning…July 1st. Next Wednesday is a prenatal class where they answer questions before your first appointment. Chuck even said he would go with me.

I am going to dinner tonight with a couple friends. One of them knows and the other 3 don't. So I am hoping my one friend can keep her yap shut. But she is pregnant now, and I know she has been through this “keep-it-a-secret-stuff”. So I am sure it won't be a problem.
