I’m a couple days late getting this posted, but I certainly didn’t forget my baby turned 10 months old on Friday the 13th. There’s going to be lots of those in her years, I think!
Dannie has a new favorite toy – a doll! She kisses it, licks it, bites its arms and legs….
And even though you can’t really tell, she also beats the baby on the floor.
She got her other bottom tooth over Labor Day weekend and is starting to get a top tooth. Maybe you can see it….she has taken to throwing her head back and laughing. It’s hilarious.
She’s also started trying to cruise around the furniture and she will try walking when I set her up to her toy.
Dannie was up on her toes in this picture and Maddie is clapping for her saying “good job, Dannie!”
Dannie is all over the place. I have tried trapping her in the living room, but she HATES it and will just sit there and wail until you let her out. She just wants to be part of the action.
Maddie loves “playing” with Dannie. She’s usually not very gentle. I snapped a couple pictures of them playing. These are the ones where Maddie isn’t on top of her. All those pictures need their own post.

Dannie loves when Maddie plays with her….as long as she lets her hold on to a toy for more than a second. 
Dannie is a trooper and is generally pretty happy in the stroller.
She’s especially happy if you keep handing her food!
Dannie got her first ride in the cart at Target. She loves it!
But she wanted to turn around the whole time and see where we were going. I don’t blame her.
This girl makes the silliest faces….all the time. She’s a goofball! I laugh at her all day long. In these pictures she was trying to get Maddie to play with her, but Maddie was ignoring her because she was playing the ipad.
Dannie is a great eater. She eats pretty much everything you give her. Fruit is her favorite thing to eat and she will pick it out of a pile of food. A friend said that when she gets some teeth on top, she’s going to be like a wood chipper with her food. He isn’t wrong. Girl loves her food!
She’s really good at holding her bottle. Sometimes she even falls asleep.
Dannie also loves swings. Way more than Maddie did when she was her age. But I tend to put Dannie in the swing more than Maddie because I need her contained while Maddie is at the park.
Dannie had a big 9th month. We went to the State Fair, the North Shore, farmer’s markets and she had her first visit to Iowa and Nebraska when we went to see Chuck’s grandparents in August. Here’s just a few pictures of Dannie. There are a TON of pictures that are still to come when I get to writing about our trips.
