Guess what I did?! I quit my job! That’s right. Last Tuesday, I finally made the decision to stay home. I had been thinking about it since I found out I was pregnant. My neighborhood is full of stay at home moms (SAHM) so we have a great neighborhood for me to do the same.
There was nothing really wrong with my job other than it wasn’t great fit for me. I also didn’t like the commute. It was almost an hour each way and anything I do after this job I would want closer to home. Or some place that didn’t have such expensive parking (parking downtown costs A LOT!) so I could have a car to leave for Maddie if I needed to.
This week would have been 3 years there for me. I went in yesterday to tie up some loose ends and clean out my desk. One of my friends had this on my desk.
I am sad to leave a few coworkers, but I know this was the right choice for me. Here’s to my new adventure with my new boss, Maddie! 🙂
