New Ulm
Last weekend Paige and I went to New Ulm. She is doing her next bit of field work there and wanted to meet her supervisor. So we had a fun time….Shopping, eating WAY too much food and just wandering around the town. HERE are all the pictures I took there. On our way out of town, we found a mini golf course that looked like a lot of fun. I am also hoping to go back and tour their brewery, but when we got there, they were sold out of tickets. Might have to take a little trip down to see her while she is working there.
Projects Around the House
We've done a couple projects around the house recently. The first was a fence in the front of the house. You can see pictures HERE.
The other one I can't take any credit for. Chuck did most of the work and Adam came over to help him. We put a wall in the basement as well as a pocket door (which is still being stained and finished) like the plan originally was for the house. HERE are pictures from this project. I think it's going to be nice to be able to close this room off. And when we finish the rest of the basement, we are going to put in a utility door and a closet. The closet will make it a 5th room in the house. But we won't finish the rest of the basement for a while still. Once we start the project, we have to be ready to finish it and it's a big project. But this is a good start!

Stampin' Up!
My friend, Katie, invited me to a Stampin' Up! card making event last night. We made 6 cards. It was so much fun. They are a little more ornate than the ones I make, but I had a lot of fun. And I got a bunch of ideas on things I can do. These are the cards we made. We did two of each pattern.

This is a great place to waste time. You pick topics and click 'stumble' and it finds different sites for you. You will have to have a browser that works with it and set up an account. It is well worth it. Enjoy wasting your time!
Silly Kitten
This kitten chases things around on a MacBook Pro. Silly little kitten. They are so cute when they are small….Then they get bigger. 🙂 No Macs were harmed in the making of this video…I don't think! 🙂

Toby Lightman's New CD
Toby Lightman's new cd came out while we were on our trip. I hope I can go pick it up soon. I am so excited. I just love her music!
Her first cd I listen to ALL the time. “Front Row” is my favorite song.
We first heard her at an OAR concert. She was one of the opening bands. She also sings on OAR's “Stories of a Stranger” CD.
