Grace In Small Things

Posted on August 4, 2009January 10, 2012 by Andi

Grace In Small Things is a website I came across the other day and wanted to give it a try. The premise is you list 5 positive things every day for 365 days. From their website:

——-

What?
“Grace in Small Things” is a daily reminder to take notice of the positive things we tend to overlook.

Why?
“Grace in Small Things” exists because we are choosing not to allow the noisiness of life to rob us of the time and energy to be mindful of ourselves and those we love and to recognize the grace that exists in small things.

Who?
“Grace in Small Things” is for YOU, because you deserve it.

When?
Grace in Small Things is a challenge for every day, because there's no time like the present, tomorrow never comes, and some other cliche about seizing the day. Oh, right: carpe diem.

——-

I have been working on trying to be more positive, so I think this will really help. It will force me to find positive things every day and eventually, I hope that I have to hold back and ONLY put down 5!

I am making this accessible to others, but they will not post daily on my site, just this post. If you are interested in reading about them, click on the “Grace In Small Things” link on the right side of my site. I will be posting them there.

Please wish me luck! I encourage anyone to give it a try. I know I don't want to turn into a cranky old lady and without looking at life more positively, I am well on my way! So here begins my journey into optimism, positive thinking and utter happiness! Yay!
