Now, one fun fact that Chuck told me is that this was all done in one take! How amazing is that?! It makes me like the commercial even more!
I am officially done with my calc class. I am now only taking one class at a time and I am so glad to be focusing on just one thing. It makes me feel less stressed already!
I have learned a few things from this class.
I am sure I learned other things, too, but these stood out. I just need to get through this, calc 2 and one more math class. It's a means to an end. And a small bit of torture to pay for a career I am really excited about.
I should be having a celebratory beer or something now that I am done. Instead I am studying for a quiz I have in class tomorrow!

I do have lots of pictures from our recent trip to Seattle (and Florida at Christmas). I have been really busy recently and I just wanted those couple readers I have to know that those posts are coming. I just need to have a tiny bit of spare time first!
These belong to a friend of mine and I just LOVE them. They crack me up! I must have a pair! I know what my next project is going to be.
I have lots to say, but haven't had the time to sit down and write. I am hoping to get that done soon. So hang in there. I will bore entertain you with my nonsense soon!
When I went birthday shopping, I picked out a fabulous black dress. It was meant to be. It was the first dress I tried on. And the first size I picked fit like a glove.
Last weekend was Chuck's Microsoft holiday party and I knew this was going to be the perfect opportunity to wear my new dress!

(Don't mind all the stuff in the hallway. We got home late and forgot to take a picture of my dress earlier and Paige was sleeping on the couch, so we didn't get a picture in front of the tree!)
Also…here's what the dress looks like on a model. And I was happy that it looked pretty good on me, too.
I got a number of compliments and I know this will be my new go-to dress!
The day after my birthday and our anniversary, we had a bunch of our friends over. We hadn't had a house warming party yet, so we thought having an annibirthary warming party would be the perfect opportunity to get everyone together.
We had a ton of food. Lots of wonderful friends came by. I got presents! I also made Key Lime Martinis that were a huge hit! Some people played board games. Some played Rock Band. Some chose darts. Some chose ping pong. There was a great time had by all.

I had good intentions this Thanksgiving to make some fun centerpieces. This was until I realized how expensive fruits and vegetables were that you wouldn't eat! Take this first centerpiece. While stunning, I would not eat the artichokes, asparagus or the string beans used. So lovely, but a huge waste of money.
And this one is also very pretty, but who needs that many lemons? And again…the artichokes would not be eaten.
Maybe if you eat these vegetables, it would be a fun decoration for you to do at your next dinner. I should really send a message to Michael's or another craft store and see if they could just make some plastic ones…they would get much more use if they didn't eventually rot!

Nothing in particular is bothering me. I'm just feeling off. I have felt more off recently than I have felt on. I wonder if that is because of all the life changes. I am sure that's all it is. But I'm tired all the time and just want to sleep and stare at the wall or read a book. Basically, I'm just feeling overwhelmed with things and it's causing me to feel off.
There are some changes I want to make, I just don't know if it's something than can be done right now or if it's really worth it at this time. I don't know if making more changes right now will make things better or worse. I am torn.
I just do my best not to let things bother me. But some days it's hard and I feel like I might just blow up at someone. So I put on my headphones and go into my own little world. It usually helps. I'm happier in my own little world when I am at work.
I know that was random. I probably should have just deleted this post. Oh well.
