Chuck snapped this lovely picture of me. I remember sitting on the window seat and looking out the window. I am not sure why I decided to curl up on something that isn't all that comfortable for sleeping on. But I was conked out. I should really make a collection of all the silly sleeping...

We have had some great weekends lately. This weekend we went up to a friends' cabin. Chuck and his friends have gone up there since they were in high school together. There were a few new people up there this year, so it was fun to make some new friends. Here's a little picture from...

Microsoft has a new search client called Bing. I love it! Every day it has a new picture with a bunch of tidbits about the picture that you can click on to learn things. It's quite addicting. You can even look at previous days' photos (I think you can go back a week). And they...

They are made of vegetables and have a surprisingly small amount of calories in them. And you get a lot in the bag....

I haven't done a post about the house next door in a while. So here's a little update. They are still plugging along with all the drywall inside the house. They also started to do some of the trim on the house before adding the siding. They beefed up the posts on the porch and...

Sundays at Tiffany's

I just finished reading this book. What a cute story. Something a bit far-fetched (because imaginary friends just aren't real….or are they?), but it was really cute. It wasn't a terribly gushy love story, but it still put a smile on your face. I did learn that I really like James Patterson's writing and his...

Shopaholic & Baby

July 22, 2009Books0
I finished the final book in the shopaholic series yesterday and returned the book to its owner! This was a very cute story. The main character was again overly dramatic at times (but aren't we all?) but she was also really likable. There's not a whole lot to say about this book that I haven't...

True story of why I’m a nutcase. While sitting o True story of why I’m a nutcase. While sitting on the boat recently, watching the kids play and listening to the house be built, I panicked. Crap! We should have put our house the other way. Left side on the right, right side on the left. That tree will be in our way! WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!
.
So I immediately text Chuck who is working and tell him about how I am worried almost to tears about this. That we messed up.
.
It isn’t something we can do anything about even if we maybe should have done it the other way, which is probably nonsense. But we love this tree. And it’s going to add to our amazing view. And I want to plant another one on the other side one day anyway. And that big open spot will have a deck and porch behind the main floor garage. And what...I may have to turn my head slightly to see the lake better?🙄
.
Yep. I’m a nutcase. I don’t worry about the things right in front of me. Or even things I should worry about. Nope. Just things that can’t be changed...now that’s where my worry shines! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤪
